Workshops on the menopause: impact on work and well-being

Did you know that 8 in 10 women experience menopause symptoms? Symptoms such as hot flushes, sleep problems, mood swings and menstrual disorders can have a significant impact on daily functioning, both at work and at home. For organisations, this means a real risk of reduced productivity, lower job satisfaction and higher absenteeism.

Yet the menopause is often a difficult topic to discuss in the workplace. Both employees and managers find it difficult to talk about it, simply because they lack knowledge or find the conversation uncomfortable.
