About task delegation
The advice of the (occupational) physician is essential for the rehabilitation of your employees, but the (occupational) physician can delegate a number of tasks to other specialist professionals. This is known as task delegation. The quality of care and the privacy of your employees are guaranteed.
Why task delegation?
By delegating certain tasks to other professionals from the team, we ensure that employees receive the guidance they need at the right time. This gives the (occupational) physician more time for the work that only the physician is authorised to perform. And so, depending on the situation and the phase of the sickness absence, different professionals can add value from their specific expertise, thereby ensuring the most sustainable path to recovery. Task delegation can make occupational health care more effective.
Deploying the right expertise faster
Working with multiple professionals in task delegation also creates more capacity in the consultation room. This allows us to deploy the right expertise quicker and complete all necessary steps under the Eligibility for Permanent Incapacity Benefit (Restrictions) Act in a responsible and timely manner. The (occupational) physician is in charge and maintains close mutual contact. The (occupational) physician always remains involved in absence management, preventive examinations and advice to your employees. We offer specific absence management that focuses on the employability of your staff.
Customised standard
Task delegation always follows a customised approach. The (occupational) physician can determine for each employee individually whether it is desirable and possible to delegate tasks. Situations in which the (occupational) physician cannot delegate are also defined. The (occupational) physician and the delegate record their mutual agreements. If the (occupational) physician has certain tasks performed by another professional, you and your employees will be informed of this in advance. Your employees always maintain the option to consult the (occupational) physician (privately). For this purpose, they can contact the fixed contact person at HumanCapitalCare.
Privacy guaranteed
All task delegates are bound by doctor-patient confidentiality, as is the (occupational) physician. All our professionals only have access to information relevant to the performance of their duties and must comply with privacy legislation.
