Working securely with Zivver

As a professional organisation, we are committed to maintaining confidentiality when handling sensitive information from and about our customers. That is why at HumanCapitalCare, we use Zivver to send confidential information securely. Zivver is an application that enables you to email and exchange files securely. The application encrypts messages to prevent third parties from accessing your information. You can rest assured that only you, the recipient, will be able to read the information.

You will receive a secure message containing confidential information via email. This email will contain a link to a secure environment. You will then need to enter an SMS code or an access code there to open the message and download any attachments.

It is important for you to communicate any changes in your email address or mobile phone number to your contact person or health coordinator at HumanCapitalCare right away. This will allow us to continue communicating with you securely.

You will find several frequently asked questions and answers below.

How do I open a Zivver message?

Email in your inbox

You will receive a message that includes the HumanCapitalCare logo and the name of the sender (or the shared mailbox). Clicking the blue button labelled ‘Open message’ in this email will automatically open the HumanCapitalCare guest portal.

Opening a message via
SMS code

To unlock the message, click the ‘Send me the code’ button. The SMS code you receive then allows you to read the message and reply if required. Is your phone number no longer correct? You can indicate that here, after which the sender will be notified.

Opening a message via
a verification email

To unlock the message, click the ‘Send me the code’ button. A 6-digit code will then be sent to you in a separate email. The code from the email should be entered in the Zivver environment, which will then allow you to read and, if required, reply to the message.

What do I do if I can’t remember my access code?

Zivver messages are sometimes locked with an access code. HumanCapitalCare will communicate this code to you in advance during a consultation, meeting or by letter/telephone.

If you cannot remember this code, and as a result are not able to open the Zivver message you have received, we kindly ask you to contact your dedicated health coordinator.

How do I respond to an email message sent via Zivver?

The messages sent via Zivver are read on a secure web page. If you want to respond to these messages, you can do so on the same page. Click the ‘Reply’ button. You will then be able to type your response directly in the response field. You also have the option of adding an attachment using the paperclip button. You can send your response by clicking the ‘Send’ button. Once the recipient responds, you will receive another email notification.

Why has my Zivver message expired?

Every message you receive from HumanCapitalCare through Zivver expires after 12 weeks by default. If you did not have the chance to read the message and/or download the attachment before that time has passed, please notify the sender so that he/she can resend the message to you.

Have you encountered an issue opening a Zivver message?

This may be due to the settings of the web browser you are using. In this case, it is best to contact the Zivver help centre.
