With this share transaction, a.s.r. strengthens its position in the field of occupational health and safety services and reintegration. This move is in line with a.s.r.’s strategy to grow alongside organic growth by making targeted investments in other businesses.

Jos Baeten, CEO at a.s.r.: “HumanTotalCare’s services fit perfectly with our vision of work and health, which focuses on vitality, sustainable employability and prevention. We have great confidence in the approach and expertise of the organisation’s staff. This move allows us to further deepen the partnership where it adds value, while the company continues to operate independently and serve its customers in the familiar way”.

Norbert Hoogers, chairman of the board of HumanTotalCare: “We are very happy with the trust that a.s.r. puts in us. The strategic partnership between a.s.r. and HumanTotalCare goes back a long way. With a.s.r. as the sole shareholder, we will continue to implement our multi-year vision & strategy unabated, making a bigger difference for the Dutch working population together with all our professionals. Nothing will change for our customers, employees, and other partners. We will continue to pursue our course from an independent position with the same dedication”.
