Sick leave follow-up remains an important point of interest. After all, all parties involved profit from a speedy recovery of sick employees and a prompt return to work. Result-oriented sick leave follow-up is realised by our health teams. They consist of a health coordinator, an occupational health & safety nurse and a company medical officer.

The health coordinator is the fixed reference point for managers and staff of our clients for any issues in the field of Occupational Health & Safety and he is familiar with the companies in the client portfolio, the contact persons and the culture and the nature of the activities of the company.

In the event of sickness absence, the health coordinator contacts the ill member of staff and managers and, if so required, engages the occupational health & safety nurse or the company medical officer. The role of the company medical officer is vital in the entire approach of the OHS process. In addition to his work in the consultation room regarding sick leave follow-ups and examinations, whether or not onsite the client, the company medical officer can also be involved in various consultation formats at the client, at any level. The company medical officer issues advice on working conditions and health policy.
