The HumanCapitalFactor is a new method to provide staff with an insight into their current and future workload capacity, to enable them to make choices surrounding their work and ambition levels and to improve and maintain their competencies, motivation, health, vitality, safety and well-being.
Result-oriented health management means investing in prevention. It is about taking measures which ensure that employees are and continue to be physically and mentally healthy. Hence Health & Safety risks and working conditions are major focal points.
In the years to come, revitalisation of senior staff, increasing employability, matching workload and workload capacity will require increased levels of attention. Preparing a policy for this as an organisation requires an integrated insight into the health status of individuals or groups of employees, the HumanCapitalFactor.
The HumanCapitalFactor is calculated on the basis of a compilation of different data and studies:
- Corporate and vocational characteristics
- Personal details
- Medical details
- Sickness absence data
- Physical examination
- Workload capacity & perception
- Workload/workload capacity test
The results of the HumanCapitalFactor offer specific actions at individual, group and organisational levels, which actions are subsequently tested for their effectiveness in order to ultimately improve the HumanCapitalFactor. It is a cyclic process.
The illustrated my-care, e-care, we-care and med-care concepts are web-based applications which data can be accessed by the different authorised individuals via Internet.
